Global gridded fields of floodplains and wetlands as represented in the Global Lakes and Wetlands database (Lehner and Döll, 2004) at 30-minute (lattitude by longitude) resolution.

(E1) wetlands_30min.asc = dominant wetland type (description) in 30-min (lonXlat) grid cell. Primary source: Lehner and Döll (2004).
